GHSlogoGuelph Humane Society – G.H.S. provides shelter and care for homeless, stray and abused animals since 1893. Each year they service approximately 3000 animals in need. At Highway 24 Veterinary Clinic we are proud to support their vision and mission by providing medical services and participating in thier spay/neuter program. We also provide care for foster kittens on a continual basis and have the best fostering adoption rate in the city!


NSDlogo-e1360848816437National Service Dogs – is dedicated to enriching the quality of life and enhancing the independence of individuals living with special needs by providing them with specially trained Golden and Labrador Retrievers. Highway 24 Veterinary Clinic is proud and excited to be sponsoring a puppy. This sponsorship provides the financing to raise a puppy from birth to placement.


ovcpettrustOVC Pet Trust – Highway 24 is a strong supporter of OVC Pet Trust, Canada’s first charitable fund entirely dedicated to advancing the health and well being of companion animals. Each year Pet Trust provides funding for innovative discoveries that have led to major improvements in anesthesia, cancer research, improving the understanding of the human companion animal bond, and much more.


externship2015 revOVC Externship Program – Highway 24 Veterinary Clinic is honored to be one of the vet clinics chosen to participate in the externship program. Our doctors mentor and facilitate teaching of veterinary students as part of their curriculum.


caatlogo-400x93The Canadian Animal Assistance Team – CAAT is a registered group of veterinary technologists, veterinary assistants, veterinarians, and people passionate about animal welfare dedicated to providing veterinary medicine and humane education for communities in need at home and abroad. We are happy to support such an organization at the ground roots level.


world_vets_largeWorld Vets – is an volunteer organization that develops, implements, and manages international veterinary and disaster relief programs to help animals, educate people and have a positive impact o communities around the world.


LFCDG-logoGuide Dogs of Canada – Since the early 1980’s the Lions Foundation has developed a national project to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them with a guide dog at o cost. The foundation relies soley on donations from individuals, service clubs, foundations, and corporations and does not receive any grant funding.


logoFarley Fund – created in 2002 by the OVMA, this foundation affords veterinarians the ability to help low income pet owners with unexpected costs of caring for a sick or injured pet. The funds are raised for this foundation by hundreds of veterinarians each year.


In addition, our team at Highway 24 happily participates and makes various donations to many other local charities such as Hope House, The Suzuki School of Guelph, The Guelph Youth Music Center, Free the Children, and The Guelph Food Bank, and several local schools.
